The earth is literally quaking under our feet every day now, and what does 'man' do? He politicises everything so that he can lay claim to possessing all the knowledge and power to fix things while blaming all 'others' as the cause. Too easy...

Was it all just a dream? How could the underlying fabric of the seemingly permanent, robust structures of my world simply dissolve all around me, just like that, almost overnight?

There's no reason to go along with the crowd and no excuse for compromising your conviction under the impertinent assumption that, if you go as they go, they will accept you; respect you; honour you for joining them... They will not.
