COSMIC BUS: It’s The End of the World As We Know It (and I Feel Crap) – Musings on The Aries Full Moon

[art: John Brosio]

I know the sky's been behaving like somebody left the damned control panel with a toddler, a bag of snakes and a flamethrower, but here we are...

Aries Full Moon.Saturday. September 26.

And it's looking far from subtle.

The Libra Sun, three clicks past the Equinox, is couching inside a Grand Air Trine with Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Aquarius, which might sound very civilised until you realise what that actually means: the ideas, systems, agreements, old networks and the entire bloody operating system is talking about civilisational collapse so it can regenerate, perhaps in increments but of increasing scale. Trines are beautiful.

Too beautifully, maybe.

Sure, it makes sense on paper. Or at least on a spreadsheet on your screen.

But then the Moon shows up in Aries, three clicks past the World Axis, conjunct Neptune and says, yeah, well, your nervous system didn't get the memo.

That's the catch with this lunation. The collective machinery seems to be reorganising itself quite efficiently, while we actual human beings inside it are confused, exhausted, furious, inspired, terrified, or suddenly unwilling to play along.

Aries wants action. Neptune isn't entirely sure what the fuck is happening, pointing us to do it either online, off-grid, or in our dreams.

And the Moon's ruler, Mars, is at 29 Cancer, square Chiron at 29 Aries, so the action button is trip-wired directly into an old wound, probably resurfacing a family script of you feeling denied, refused or shut down, which dings the security reflex whenever you feel threatened and causes you to react all crazy like, when in your mind you swear you're just being practical, trying to preserve your autonomy [gasp].

You're probably not doing so well...

Meanwhile, Venus, ruler of the Libra Sun, is slowing in Scorpio and heading towards retrograde. Relationships, money, loyalties, contracts and all those lovely little arrangements we've been pretending are mutual may be about to get put under the microscope. Scrutinised and audited.

Not necessarily ended. Audited.

This Full Moon looks less like a clean break and more like the moment when you realise the old terms are no longer survivable. And once you've seen that, well.... bit hard to unsee it.

Ang covers all of this in the latest Cosmic Bus episode. Grab snacks. And perhaps legal counsel, and enjoy xx
