It's definitely a crazy time for Virgos, Leos, OCPDs and other controllers, but if the past eighteen months have taught us one thing, it's that we're getting too fat to notice how little control we actually have over anything these days.
Time to lighten up. Get a sense of humour if we're going to cope with this. Even the president's famous penchant for having everything precisely as he wants it seems increasingly confined to sitting in his Oval playroom, FOX News playing on the telly, with a Sharpie and a map, renaming bits of the world according to his personal preference.
The bigger problem, of course, is that these systems themselves are rapidly getting away from us. All of us. Whilst we now have more information at our fingertips than any humans in history could ever have dreamed of, we're also at a point where we trust no one to do anything right, nor can we agree on what is actually true.
Yeah, watch more podcast analyses of the "news" we're fed, read more of what random nobodies are saying in the comments, confer with more 'science' experts, more PhDs, feed me more data for my GPTs, gorge me with more peer-reviewed opinions...
All the while, increasingly, these godawful complex algorithms decide and administer which fraction of 'reality' we actually get to see on our slop-feeds. We created these fancy AI systems to help us understand and manage the world, only to suddenly realise that we've effectively become, like our CEOs, presidents, and kings, mere peripheral participants in a machinery so big and powerful we can barely oversee it anymore. These things are fast developing a will of their own.
Friday's Last Quarter Moon (Sep 4) sees us at an unexpectedly sensitive point in the historical timeline, which I must say is racing towards singularity. With the SUN in Virgo squaring the MOON in Gemini, both lights clash in Mercury-ruled signs. The mind may be sharp, keenly observant and desperate to articulate whatever has lately been forming, but there's so much information flying around that even our best analyses can all sound like bs, especially if we try to intellectualise our feelings rather than actually experience them.
Yes, everything is fast becoming transparent. Notice how quickly we identify the fallible, fallacious logic in ourselves, in others, in the whole damned world around us. Our criticism may even be dead accurate, but accuracy doesn't necessarily make it useful, nor can we hope to be convincing or make any changes. So...
I would start lowering the bar, letting things slide considerably, especially where fellow humans are involved, otherwise everything will soon start to look so inadequate, so disappointing, so hopelessly pathetic that you could have an aneurysm.
Mercury's sesquisquare to Pluto intensifies this considerably, especially given Mercury will soon be crossing the precise degree of next week's Virgo New Moon. There is plenty worth noticing. A whole universe of facts. Not all of it needs any mentioning.
Our world is fast becoming too complex for anyone to stand above it with a clipboard and claim to understand how the whole machine functions. And, just like 'god' that came before, the grand machine doesn't seem particularly interested in asking us anyway.
