No, I don't believe in astrology. That is an absurd question. Astrology is a language based on the symbolism of the stars. It would be akin to someone asking if I believe in Japanese, or Hebrew, Greek or Latin.
I believe in observation, measurement, and reasoning (science), and in my capacity to share and verify my verdicts among peers. In the case of astrology, I do this by studying complex interconnecting cosmic cycles and their correlation to human behaviour, both personal and collective. I use a plain, personable language to convey my findings, either to be confirmed or denied by independent, nonpartisan witnesses.
Interpreting the complicated, nuanced language of the stars into terms people can understand is the art (not science) of astrology. As Jupiter/Saturn approach Aquarius, we are on the cusp of the emergence of a brand-new collective consciousness. As many of the old, fear-based customs, religions and superstitious beliefs begin to fall away, astrology is about to come into its own as a true discipline and study.
Many more futuristic or progressive ideological and structural changes are about to revolutionise human consciousness. These will transform our world from one which is fear-based into one which shares a love of knowledge and integrative meaning into the group consciousness. Amazing new technologies also have the power to transform our species.
