On this New Moon, we become conspicuously aware that our physical earth, its teeming abundance and every creature on it are teetering dangerously close to being "owned" by strange, godless entities whose grand design is to commodify everything that breathes, branches, roots in the soil and lies beneath the bedrock and seas; the minerals, the aquifers, the last unregistered acre; and strip whatever remains of the sacred from the transaction. The Taurus New Moon at 26° is the body's answer to that programme. It is a seed planted in real soil, under real pressure, by hands that still remember what it feels like to touch something, to grow something rather than subscribe to something. Whether we are up to the challenge of staying embodied, sovereign and wilfully unoptimised in a world racing to digitise the ground beneath our feet is the question this lunation is pressing into every chart it touches.
