“Where Empires Break”: PLUTO OUT OF BOUNDS

When Pluto Goes Rogue: The Declination Shift That Ends Empires

In late February 2022, I stood atop the megalithic fortress of Sacsayhuamán, just above Cusco, Peru, delivering a live Cosmic Bus episode. That same day, Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine. To many, it appeared sudden, but astrologically, it was synchronised to something vast and fateful: Pluto was making its final pass over the natal Pluto in the United States chart (27°32′ Capricorn), completing its first return since 1776. That broadcast, framed against the stones of a fallen empire, marked what I described as the beginning of the end of another—the American imperial project. And not just because of Pluto’s return by degree, but because of what was forming underneath it, in a lesser-known but no less potent cycle: Pluto preparing to go out-of-bounds.

The USA Pluto return marked the confrontation with the ghosts of empire: resource extraction, regime change, proxy wars, ideological policing, economic domination through military-backed currencies. All those founding habits, seeded at the birth of the United States, came full circle. What began with genocide and the Declaration of Independence, ends in Ukraine, Taiwan, Gaza, Niger, and wherever else America bankrolls its idea of “freedom.”

But what happens when Pluto not only returns, but breaks formation entirely? What does it mean for the planet of power, death, and transformation to go “out of bounds”?

The Declination Cycle: Pluto Beyond the Sun’s Reach

Most astrologers track planetary movement through the zodiacal longitude. However, there’s another measurement: declination, which refers to a planet’s angle above or below the celestial equator (Earth’s equator projected into space). The Sun (ruler) never exceeds ±23°27′, and when other planets do, they are considered “out of bounds” (OOB). When Pluto exceeds that limit to the south, it doesn’t just act like Pluto—it acts like Pluto unrestrained, and that ain’t always nice.

Where Pluto normally works as an evolutionary pressure (death, rebirth, harsh psychological exposure), out-of-bounds Pluto amplifies the ordeal beyond the usual fare. It becomes a lawless, unscrupulous monster. Historical cycles show that when Pluto’s out-of-bounds to the north, it tends to correlate with empire expansion, dictatorship, and the aggressive consolidation of power. Last time that went down was 1938–1952. When south, we get the inverse: revolution, collapse, reformation. Not necessarily peaceful, but yeah, pivotal.

We’re right on the verge of Pluto going out-of-bounds southward from 2025 to 2035, for a few months each year. This isn’t speculation. The declination data is exact, and it starts tomorrow. What is rare is what this phase represents: the last southern Pluto out-of-bounds cycle for thousands of years due to Earth’s axial tilt shift. So, not just an ordinary transit phase—it’s like a final, empire-shifting fault line opening alongside other rare cosmic alignments that will proceed to cause a systemic rupture not seen in hundreds of years, and will impact our species in unimaginable ways.

Empirical Pattern: When Pluto Deviates Southward

Let’s put the theory to the test. Below are the known southern Pluto out-of-bounds periods and what took place:

  • 1775–1796
American & French Revolutions. Destruction of monarchy, birth of modern democracy. Decentralisation of religious and aristocratic power.
  • 1524–1553
The Reformation. Luther’s 95 Theses (1517) sparks a decades-long revolt against the Church. Henry VIII breaks from Rome. Collapse of singular religious authority. Spanish (Pizarro) conquer Inca and assert their crown over Peru, eventually all South America.
  • 1290s
Peak of southern declination (c. 1291) marks the end of Crusader rule in the Holy Land. Founding of the Swiss Confederacy. Papal prestige falters.
  • 1028–1067
Tensions in Byzantium. Anglo-Saxon decline culminates in the Norman Conquest.
  • 780s–820s
Charlemagne’s death and Carolingian fragmentation. Abbasid Islamic Golden Age begins to decentralise.
  • 530s–580s
Justinian’s Code. Plague of Justinian. Collapse of the Western legal and economic order. Eastern reform.
  • 285–337 CE
Diocletian reforms the Roman Empire. Constantine legitimises Christianity. Massive reorganisation of state power.
  • 1160s BCE
Collapse of Bronze Age civilisations. End of Hittites, Mycenaeans, and Egyptian imperial reach. Global systemic reset.

**Note: We’re not cherry-picking data here. All these intervals come directly from Pluto’s southern declination data. The themes represent the breakdown of established empires. Redistribution of power. Sudden civilisational shifts are ominous here, and have been on the cards for some time.

2025–2035: The Final Out-of-Bounds

From 29 August to 23 November 2025, Pluto will dip below the southern bounds of the solar path. It does this annually for eleven years, peaking around October 2030. As mentioned earlier, this period contains the final OOB Pluto cycle for millennia due to changes in Earth’s tilt (declination limits shrink with axial precession). What it means is that this will be the last systemic collapse cycle of its kind in the lifetime of modern civilisation.

The nature of this current phase differs from that of earlier ones. In past centuries, Pluto would remain out-of-bounds continuously for 15–20 years. This time, it pulses in and out, roughly August to December, giving the world both the implosion and its echo: moments of extreme contraction, then assimilation.

YearOOB Start DateOOB End Date
202528 Aug 202524 Nov 2025
202612 Aug 202611 Dec 2026
202702 Aug 202721 Dec 2027
202827 Jul 202826 Dec 2028
202926 Jul 202929 Dec 2029
203027 Jul 203028 Dec 2030
203131 Jul 203125 Dec 2031
203206 Aug 203220 Dec 2032
203315 Aug 203312 Dec 2033
203426 Aug 203403 Dec 2034
203512 Sep 203518 Nov 2035

This rhythmic structure matters. It suggests waves of breakdown and breakthrough, more like labour contractions before birth than a single apocalyptic blow. But just know… Pluto doesn’t do anything halfway. The systems and concatenations that crack in those months won’t ever be patched back together. They will split, collapse, or be restructured beyond recognition by a revolutionary new force.

The End of Plutocracy

All empires end. However, the American empire, under Pluto’s jurisdiction, was always distinct in its expansion: covert intelligence, corporate dominance, and via its propagating mythology of freedom and progress. The Pluto return in 2022 brought it full circle. The proxy war in Ukraine is not just about NATO or Crimea or Russian paranoia. It is about a declining power trying to maintain global hegemony through its last levers: military contracts, energy corridors, and the enforcement of dollar supremacy.

Still, what we’re witnessing in Gaza, is not an isolated event. The Israeli state, heavily funded and militarised by the United States, is executing one of the most catastrophic sieges in modern history. To say it plainly: it’s a genocide of the most obscene order. If Pluto out-of-bounds south wreaks of almighty reckonings, then this is the reckoning for the post-World War II power architecture, of which Israel is a central outpost. This is not about “Jews” or any collective guilt. That line of thinking is a dead-end and morally bankrupt. What’s collapsing is the weaponisation of identity, memory, and exceptionalism to justify systemic brutality. The consequences will not be limited to the region, and at least for the next few years, spell a disastrous collapse of the imperial chokehold the United States has held over the world by its culture.

What to Expect: Themes likely to intensify through 2025–2035

  • De-dollarisation
Collapse of US financial dominance; rise of alternative trade systems and currency blocs.
  • Institutional Disintegration
IMF, World Bank, NATO/EU, the UN — either restructured or defanged.
  • Techno-Political Revolts
Mass civil disobedience powered by decentralised tech; mass data leaks, AI crackdowns, counter-AI.
  • Spiritual Rewilding
Mass rejection of technocratic order; return to indigenous, decentralised, and embodied modes of knowing.
  • Return of the Commons
Land Back Movements, Water Rights, Energy Decentralisation, Post-Nation-State Alliances.

NOTE: Much of this may not appear to be a victory at first. It will look like utter chaos, mass persecutions, revolutionary/terrorist strikes, and the collapse of government control via military/police. But remember the pattern: Pluto out-of-bounds south is the breakdown that bulldozes the way clear.

Last Word: Read the Sky

Nobody owes us a soft landing. We’ve had it easy—too easy for too long. Civilisations don’t end nicely. They convulse, stagger, and sometimes burn. However, astrology tells us this: that we are entering a window of opportunity that will not come again. The old, Plutocratic empires are wobbling. The illusions of oligarchs imposing their centralised power are being pierced. The sky’s not going to bullshit us. Stars don’t lie.

Pluto’s last departure beyond the Sun’s bounds in this epoch is no mere metaphor but a celestial fact. It tolls like the hand of a vast clock, poised at the final minute of the eleventh hour. When midnight strikes, whatever has refused—or proved unable—to change will be carried off into extinction.

Oh, and my advice? ’Cause you want advice, right? Refuse to vote for toxic tyrants—refuse to work for them, buy their products, shill their propaganda, listen to their toxic network pitch; do not engage with predators and do not marry them; report their abuses to their own ilk. Watch how they either all turn on you, or onto each other.

Then walk. Walk like your spine was built from myth and iron. Walk with your silence louder than their smarmy smear campaigns, your defiance fiercer than their contracts, your absence more valuable than any cog in their algorithm. Let them cannibalise each other in the echo chamber of their own unexamined cruelty. Let them feel the chill of a world that no longer gives them the benefit of your attention. You don’t owe them loyalty. You don’t owe them your grace. You owe them nothing.

And if they call you difficult? Good. You’re finally getting through.
