JUNE 2025: “MAKING THE TRANSITION”: THE MONTH AHEAD

Just because a transit has passed doesn’t mean the tension’s gone. It’s more like surviving a crash, an altercation, or a brush with something primal. The crisis point may be behind you, but the shock still reverberates. You’re not the same. Something fundamental has shifted, and there’s no returning to how things were.

That’s the essence of a transit: it jolts you out of an old state of awareness. A sliver of your consciousness has cracked open—an evolutionary spasm where the universe briefly dreams through you. You might try to prattle on with the old script, but it’s no good; that role no longer fits. You’ve changed, the dynamics have changed, and you’re no longer the same person in that context—nor should you want to be.

Transits—particularly those hard aspects like squares, oppositions, and conjunctions—jolt us out of stale thinking and outdated circumstances, forcing a shift in self-awareness and life path. Even when the crisis point fades, the effect is permanent. You can’t simply crawl back into bed; once you’ve glimpsed a new perspective there’s no unseeing it. Outer-planet hits (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) catalyse radical metamorphosis: Pluto’s death-and-rebirth cycle annihilates the “old you” for good. Gentler tides from Jupiter or Venus can still expand or soften your worldview until previous routines feel alien. When several planets change signs at once, massive bewilderment spikes, hurling you into fresh territory. We’re evolving beings in an evolving universe—every jolt rewires us, laying ground for the next wave to deepen the change.

As Saturn edges ever closer to Neptune (now within 2º), the lag between illusion and the gritty realism that follows is shrinking fast. This isn’t just showing up in personal relationships, where maintaining the charade just to get along has gotten flat-out exhausting, but also in the broader political theatre.

The “Overton Window,” that gauge of how societal attitudes and political discourse impact which ideas are considered politically viable, is mutating fast into a spectacle of unstomachable grotesqueries, obscenities and fabricated lies.

Where Neptune whispers hypnotically, “You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time,” Saturn slams down with, “But you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.” The gap doesn’t go unnoticed. And with other celestial triggers converging in Aries later this month, this hot little dance at the Aries Point (World Axis) delivers a particularly brutal wake-up call—a rude collective awakening for which there’s no snooze button…

In the coming weeks, the transiting heat intensifies. The major players are all on the move. The old world has all but expired. The event horizon of an entirely new dream looms large, and like it or not, we’re all crossing into something wholly untested, volatile, and completely alive. Jupiter’s entry into Cancer ignites the cardinal axis, triggering a crossfire battle of unholy morality with Saturn/Neptune in early Aries and Pluto Rx at 3° Aquarius, while Uranus charges up for his Gemini ingress on July 7. The tectonic shift begins here. There’s no script nor safety net here, just raw emergence, so you best be ready to improvise.

As the old cycle has collapsed, but the new one hasn’t yet formed, in this suspended, liminal state, we see strange forces emerging, almost inverting everything we know and trust into its opposite. We are not witnessing resolution or rebirth, only the raw, grotesque monstrosities of transition. Whether in the cosmos, culture, or psyche, when all the known disintegrates, and yet there is no clear replacement present, a vacuum forms—one where distorted figures, bent-up ideologies, convoluted politics and even biological impulses twist and surge forward to fill the gap. Transits like these —epic transits—don’t just harken “change”; they summon the dark gargatrons of liminality, corrosive entities born in the fissures of friction between what no longer works and what hasn’t yet become. In these in-between days, don’t look at the all-consuming chaos as a glitch—it’s more like the last, bloated, incapacitating days of gestation.
