Nov. 18 “MERCURY OPPOSITION JUPITER Rx”

There’s not much luck trying to get through to one another when the undignified Mercury in Braggottarius opposes Stupiter in Gemini—a cacophonical shit fight, where truth isn’t only secondary; it can barely poke its head into the ball park.

The conversation seems messy and incoherent: one side spouting outlandish ideas and suggestions, the other scattering random snippets of wit and sophistry like confetti.

They may, at least in theory, understand each other’s overreach into areas contrary to what they profess, but their mutual reception offers no common ground here. More likely, they’re talking over each other, with arrogance and pride inflating every misstep as an indication of their assumed superior wisdom.

A harmonious aspect to both from Chiron in Aries might offer a lifeline, building a bridge between these polarised perspectives. But are we ready to cross it? It takes humility to pause, to listen, to let go of the urge to be right at all costs. Most won’t bother. Instead, they’ll double down, defend flawed logic, and latch on to borrowed opinions as though they’re their own.

The truth is rarely simple, and neither is this moment. Let the tension sharpen your thinking, not your tongue.

Alright, sure, so here we have it, Phase II of this same exact opposition (☿ ☍ ♃). Hopefully, 16 days later, we’ve learned to tone down the moral indignation bs and, yeah… the bs:

MERCURY v JUPITER, back at it, like two toddlers throwing retrograde hissy fits across the cosmos. J,ust this time, we’ve had two weeks and a bit to marinate in the aftermathic chaos of the last round. Hopefully, you’ve realised that yelling louder doesn’t make your point any more valid, and cherry-picking half-baked “facts” to dunk on someone else’s argument is, frankly, embarrassing.

With both planets now retrograde, the universe is saying, “Oi, slow tf down, rewind, pull it back”. You must know that nobody is going to win this debate anymore (were they ever?), It a good chance to look at what you’ve actually been saying versus what you think you’ve been saying. Mercury Rx suggests you recheck your words; Jupiter Rx insists you reign in that overblown moral crusade. The result? A chance—if you’re not too busy stroking your own ego—to have a dialogue that’s less “battle royale” and more “brainstorm session.” Try it. You might learn something.
