Whatever you may think, whatever motivates or influences your thoughts, whether it’s coercion, corruption, conformity, or cowardice, the choices you make, once acted upon, leave a lasting impact. Once deeds are done, they become ossified in time, set in stone and cannot be undone.

Our past deeds can, however, and must be reviewed and evaluated from time to time. The past few weeks with MARS and MERCURY in retro, may have been stressful as we’ve strived to witness, re-examine, understand our reasoning, weigh the implications, and be ready to face the shocking consequences.

Taking the time to reflect on regretful actions, we can learn from our mistakes and make better decisions in the future. As MARS and MERCURY both station to direct in quincunx, the time has come to stop, recognise and admit how our cognitive biases affect the decisions we make, and to strive for more impartiality and fairness. Whether your past actions are a result of you being bullied, bribed, trying to follow the crowd or out of terror, any action not in sync with your true integrity will eat away at your conscience and, ultimately, your nervous system…

During the next week, if you find yourself in a situation where the facts about things have inclined you to be biasedly misled, hence compromised your character, try to take a step back and reevaluate. Take a moment to assess your life and focus on the most significant things. Don’t overburden yourself with responsibilities that aren’t yours.

Don’t worry about others so much right now. There are those so ossified into sin that their conduct has left them damaged beyond recovery. Step away, nature will take care of those, and most rapidly at that.

It’s crucial to establish boundaries and not let ‘the bastards’ take advantage of you. If you feel unappreciated for your efforts, clearly state your feelings and expectations. Focus on people and work only on things that align with your values and goals. Take time away from that job or those whom you have identified are out to mess with your mind.

This year has kicked off with extreme velocity to become grounded. However, the gravity of our situation must not be allowed to bring us down.

Self-care is especially vital during times of stress or agitation. In order for things to straighten out, make time for yourself and engage in activities you enjoy. Go for a walk, read a book, and spend time with loved ones.

In order to reframe what’s happened, to heal and repair, prioritise working on what benefits you most, set clear boundaries, communicate effectively, practice self-care, and take time to relax and rejuvenate.
