‘The Big Squeeze’

You may not see much going on at the moment, but the underlying tension between NOW and the FULL MOON (Jan 17) builds silently, eventually reaching nosebleeding levels. MERCURY (logic) and VENUS (desire) flank either side of PLUTO (force majeure), who likes to hold both tightly under the reigns of his hypnotic control. Gradually, Mercury slows to a halt, and then, like Venus, pulls retrograde towards Pluto (Jan 14).

While the manipulation of a thought or memory is a psychological process, the suppression of feelings is executed by numbing a part of the body or dulling the desire complexes so that all feeling becomes nullified or crushed. Under the harsh, judgmental stars of Capricorn, Pluto produces an enormously deadening effect. Those under his possession are completely zombified under his gaslit spell.

Since thoughts depend on feelings to become personified, the more these can be manipulated, the more they wrench into psychotic breaks, somehow impacting everyone. This obscure phenomenon becomes widespread, as we shall see as the SUN (authority) comes to conjunct Pluto (authoritarianism) opposite the Cancer Full Moon. ERIS (scorn, envy) forms a diabolical T-square, here.

The next two weeks are profoundly intense. I won’t mince words when telling you that without a protracted application of immense mental and emotional tension, true maturation cannot be achieved. Can be suffocating, but then, how else are you gonna finally come crawling out of your cosy little crabhole?
