MARS in VIRGO

What do you get when you put a serial ‘doer’, high in mental energies/low emotional under a spell that it’s the “end of the world”, and that’s it’s up to them to save us all from the threat of extinction?

MARS in VIRGO can be an all-around do-gooder. For all his self-discipline, strong work ethic, technical aptitude and unselfishness, he is sometimes seen as pushy, even tedious, with definite ideas about what’s generally good or bad for others – particularly those he cares about.

It is the energy of the boy scout who unsolicitedly drags the poor old lady across the street, despite her protests that she doesn’t want to go.

By the end of this week, when our designated über-carer hits the PLUTO/ERIS midpoint, we will see the darker side of this force acting out, either for or against the “greater cause”, often driven by the most sinister, invisible powers currently playing out in our collective. Here, MARS seeks to impose Virgo’s rightness and exactitude by making others wrong, applying brutal, do-or-die ultimatums if they fall short of his impossibly high standards of efficiency and servitude.

The square from Mars to the NODAL AXIS suggests that all action will be deemed as going ‘against the grain’. This only leads to disputes and even wars with others, regardless of what some may consider as ‘the noblest intents’.

A quincunx (150º) aspect from SATURN imbibes all activity with a strange sense of inhibition, and though actions may come from a place of ‘best intentions, we may stop short, or even decline to make a proper start, due to a growing feeling of inadequacy.

Still, this compulsive urge of MARS in VIRGO to ‘assist others’ with criticism, judgement, nagging and even an attempt to shame others to ‘do right’ profoundly impacts those who intuitively take a more spiritual, ‘bigger-picture’ approach to life (or death). We must stay mindful to reserve these passionate biases to restore health and orderliness to what we see as clearly chaotic situations and learn to apply them in a more considered and discerning, humane and tolerant way.

Suppose we genuinely wish to experience the fulfilment of a wholesome new sense of regularity in our world. In such a case, we must focus our efforts on helping those who actually ask for our help and learn to leave all else alone, either to adapt at their own pace or be left behind.

If we hold any ‘hope’ for this planet’s future peace and liveability, it is because of the increasingly blatant and obtusely shameless corruption all coming to light now, for everyone to see. You, too, are a small but significant part of the problem, and if you can see it, a solution that suits everyone is now forming in the collective mindset.

If you want to help with the solution, refrain from acting in haste. Start thinking about how to apply your unique skills and efforts towards nursing and healing the bigger picture. Set your intention to include the improvement of the whole forest, not just the unkempt shrubs you notice just at the front of your house.
