The 3D world is dissolving, but it ain’t going to disappear without a tear. The wisdom and custom of the ages, cherished time-worn traditions, the way we went about our business in the establishments downtown, the old folks who still remind us of a bygone era … It hurts to let go of those.
We might still be attached to certain things we valued, yet there is a growing sense of inevitability that these things, once held in tremendously high esteem are losing their reverence and relevance to us. Just like the polar icecaps, they will melt away and evaporate, and one questions how they will be remembered, if at all.
The world has changed. Our value system is shifting rapidly. Even in our current relationships, we don’t care to sustain things, just to use and dispose of them when they cease to serve our selfish, on-demand needs and consumeristic desires.
Why?
Where are we heading with this now?
