Every heartbreak, rejection, grief and sorrow introduces us to change and, although painful, forces us to accept release from something that perhaps wasn’t quite complementary to our growth and what we strive to be.
Our ego may be in denial, but letting go is often preferable to the anguish of hanging on to something unsuitable, or to the humiliation of clinging to a rebound effort.
WARNING: The door behind you will not be heard to slam; it will be left open, as is often the case where great reversals have gone down.
**Misery and misfortune will always be ‘happy’ to see your sorry-ass crawling back.

One thing I may never quite understand: how everyone is fascinated by how unique and innovative you are; how it’s refreshing that you managed to style and cultivate your own sense of individuality; impressed how you exude a sparkling brilliance; turned on by how you sway to the rhythm of your own beat, then, at the same time they try to squish you (and everyone else) into the same shitty cage of expectations and conditions – if you want their love and appreciation.
