Hey, have I told you that you make this all worthwhile?

Someone who’s there for us, who cares to listen; to watch over us; who knows all excitement and bruhaha will eventually wear down, and we shall turn it in again to them, exhausted, humbled and forlorn, only to hold us in their loving and forgiveness – that’s all that’s needed to make us feel grounded and real again. 

Not everyone means well for us. Not everyone holds us in mutual love, respect and support. Some people only wish us ill, and though it’s tempting just to label these as ‘evil’ or ‘malignant’ it’s perhaps much easier to deal with these folks like they are suffering some kind of ignorance of you and all your beauty.

At this point you can simply discern that they are perhaps not there for your best interests and make a call to distance yourself from them, at least until they can demonstrate that they are ready to treat you with some degree of kindness or respect.

Everyone is capable of love – if not your love, then let them find love elsewhere. Let’s invest OUR love on those who mean the best for us, and hence build up a network of folks who truly make our life more meaningful.
