In hIs 1959 follow-up, “Brave New World Revisited”, Huxley observed that the world was becoming like the dystopia he described in his 1931 masterpiece “Brave New World” much faster than he ever imagined. He cited the reason for this was overpopulation, and the means by which populations can be controlled, such as subtle effects of drugs and subliminal suggestion through the media…
If you’re well-adjusted, then ask yourself, adjusted to what? Perhaps you were able to go along with the program- you studied hard, got good grades, took to a college degree, post-grad, soared in the majors, cooked up a sweet resume, played by the rules, got yourself a nice little wife and McMansion on the slope, replete with the 3.1 cars.
Excellent. You done good. You’re adjusted to the S.Quo. You’re a creature of the system and all that is considered normal. Which is fine if we all agree that that is the system by which there is to play. So long as that is the agreed way, and all the things you have are those that we agree are of the highest value, then the world you’re participating in is the world that we all want.
And it kinda makes you feel ‘good’ to be considered normal, don’t it? Kind gives you a sense of the ‘untouchable’ that we all agree that you is the standard to aspire towards. Why, I bet it even gives you the right to go around and try to pull the rest of us into line…. #JSFKNCHRST

Entering the last decade, we saw the critical SATURN/PLUTO/URANUS/JUPITER T-square, which played havoc with our economy and shifted business/politics/personal relationships into a new electronic medium. 10 years later, the chicken come home to roost, as Saturn first conjuncts Pluto, then heads on to conjunct Jupiter and square Uranus.
