A Partial Solar Eclipse, occurring over 12° away from the critical South Node at 27°♒08′, is no less a Solar Eclipse. As many of us empaths have strongly been sensing, these eclipsed lunations’ spiritual effects upon humanity are earth-shakingly real. They have the power to jolt us out of our familiar comfort zones and point us towards ways where we must consider how our personal magnanimity and appeal to others hopes to prosper and survive in the context of a rapidly changing tech-savvy world.
You may be observing a procession of insights and revelations, hinting to you that certain attachments and addictions in your life are actually hindering rather than progressing your evolutionary development. You may also be sensing subtle intuitive warnings that unless you do not drop these counterproductive habits cold, that they can potentially destroy your hopes of feeling connected to life and living in true integrity to your individual sense of sovereignty, honour and well-being.Much rests upon your level of intelligence to meditatively listen to the deep inner voice of the spirit, which via these eclipses reverberates clearly off the many contacts you have made in your life, both living and in your living memory. Certain themes, important messages coming through to you from the ‘lessons’ life has brought to you, whether via intimate or fleeting karmic contacts have raised their resounding call for you to wake up, step forward and rise above your little hangups.
The Leo Blood Lunar Eclipse of two weeks ago may have raised many instances where we saw how fixated some of us can get about how we get noticed by others – either for love, affection, admiration and applause from those around us. At times, we were forced to confront how sometimes we carry on like little children, trying to be cute and out-perform everyone else using all kinds of juvenile tricks and acts, to dramatically extract attention for ourselves, to be loved, liked, or at least taken seriously by someone, whether it’s in our personal relationships or in our business.
This theme swelled up to a point of critical proportions for many to see (just in case we might miss it). It seemed that everyone was desperate for a bit of airplay on what is fast becoming a highly competitive world stage, whose limited bandwidth and fancy AI algorithms only allow for the most clever and witty, or garish and loud to exhibit.
It then stands that those not producing the most authentically creative efforts might also be knocked out of the race. Of course, we’re not just talking about the stars in TV, movies, internet, or social media forums here. We are talking about ordinary folks like you and me, wishing to express ourselves within out chosen community. And not just online – this applies to real-life social scenarios as well.
Even those who emerge as the world’s most illustrious and creative geniuses may soon be seen as somewhat tiresome or uninteresting, attention-seeking babies, since on some level those efforts begrudgingly surpass our own meager or desperate efforts to also be heard.
Technology these days is not only allowing for everyone to take a shot at taking centre stage, but also, through advanced audio/video enhancing tools is able to create instant media packages that quickly fool the eye so successfully, that tomorrow’s entertainers and politicians may be indistinguishable from their computer generated clones.
Needless to say, the entertainment, artistic, political, marketing industries (anywhere there is a need for a performing front-person) are about to undergo irrevocable changes in the next 12 months, thanks to the technology.
This Aquarius Solar Eclipse acts as a reset point to everything innovative and informatively useful to the artist or showman in each of us. It is a two-and-a-half year process that seeks to tear down the framework of how much we depend upon and seek support from the attention/approval of peer networks to feel spiritually fulfilled.
Think of it as a cold restart in the attention-grabbing stakes – a breaking apart process which actually began in in August 2016 and will finally end in 2019. Through a series of 9 instalments, we will have broken our hold on a 19-year old system of garnering an audience using the rising (and falling) infrastructure to get applause and admiration.

The lunations clear the path for a more genuine approach to finding love and appreciation. However, for this to happen we must tear down any hokey, phoney efforts that are largely self-serving and contrived for immediate gratification.
To please our soul, we must make an effort that is true and significant. Artificial efforts, though entertaining can quickly become boorish and transparent. It’s also a part of the new human logic that as our society is being flooded with all kinds of tricks and ploys to catch our attention – to grab our money, time, personal information, love, etc.- we are also becoming more capable of spotting a fake from the real thing.
Our inner guidance system is learning to rapidly see past the fraudulent and grandstanding efforts of the empty and untalented showmen, in any business. We will not date them, buy their products, vote for them or give them our trust and belief because they are easily spotted as being self-serving and hollow in their intent. Our intuition is becoming more and more honed to go with efforts that are genuinely authentic, simply because it wishes us to be acknowledged and received along the same terms.
Whilst this can be a time of massive disengagement and recalibration in today’s creatively vapid society, it is also a filtering of the nonsense and cheap chicanery that often masquerades as genuine talent, class, authority and respectability within ourselves and among our communities. Essentially, this necessary part of the process will weed out ‘smash-and-grab’ efforts to extract love through useless pursuits, and discipline us to hone our craft a little better if we are to genuinely win the hearts of others.
Blessings, and enjoy the Eclipse xx
